Election 2012 3 days to go...
This election, anglophone and allophone voters have an interesting choice. We can continue to vote for the same party – a corrupt party that takes our vote for granted at every election. Or we can vote differently.
This election is not a referendum for or against staying in Canada. It is an election about honesty in politics – something that certain parties have very little of.
As voters, we have, I think, several choices:
1. We can abstain, rather than voting for a corrupt party that takes advantage of us.
2. We can vote for one of the other big parties in the hope that they bring a less corrupt system to Quebec. This would be strategic voting.
3. We can investigate the programs of smaller parties and vote for them.
Whatever you do, as a member of your community I ask you not to vote for the corruption and the lies that has become a feature of Quebec politics. Take the plunge – let’s choose someone different. Any other party would make a welcome change from the present.
Be strategic. Be clear. Have a voice.
